Desert racer continued…

First photo…In Paris at the start of the Dakar 1989.
Chassis cleaning, rust treating and painting during last summer.
Just a few photos that represent many weeks of work.
The chassis was in amazing condition considering its 40 years. No repairs were necessary.
Now back to gleaming white as owner, driver John Saxton’s original build spec.
Final picture, the passenger door…… I think they call that patina.
