''EASY ON'' REAR BODY CROSS MEMBER.
CHASSIS MOUNTING REPAIR BOOT.
If your rear cross member is corroded around the chassis mounting points which is often the case
then our repair boot could be the simple answer.
Replacing the mounting is notoriously difficult and not always necessary.
The inner section of the existing mount is made of heavy section steel, this normally remains intact.
The corrosion usually occurs in the thin steel at the side and around the mount.
These heavy 16s gauge steel coated sections simply slip over the chassis mount and weld into place.
Super fast to fit with minimal strip down.
These sections fit exactly were they are needed.

Ensure your repair lasts
use FERTAN on all rusty areas before you weld in our replacement panels,
to ensure all rust under and around the repair is killed permanently.
Seal around your repair with POLYFLEX over paintable, moisture curing, polyurathane sealant.
Overpaint sealant repair and surrounding area with BESAVAL no primer, gloss black paint.
Spray or brush TETRA SHUTZ underseal to underbody areas.
Overspray all when dry and spray into cavities with

REMOVE BUMPER AND BODY MOUNT BOLT
USE PRY BAR TO LIFT THE MOUNT SLIGHTLY
SLIDE THE REPAIR BOOT OVER THE BODY MOUNT
AND FULLY WELD AROUND THE BOOT.
